Specialty camp for slum-slaughter areas
Sewa Diwas will be celebrated throughout the state from 17 September 2018 to 25 September 2018, by special medical camps in the slum area. On the occasion of Sewa Diwas, Medical Camp is going to be organized in different slum areas of Palamu district. Through the National Urban Health Mission Program, for the health checkup of poor helpless and common people in the slum areas of the Municipal Corporation of Medininagar. The medical camp will be operated in two shifts from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm.
In all medical camps the inspiring short film “Chalo Jita Hain”, made on the life of the Prime Minister will be displayed by LED Bhan of the Information and Public Relations Department. Simultaneously, the LED vehicle will promote Ayushman Bharat, cleanliness and other public welfare schemes.
A total of 18 slum areas of the municipal corporation have been selected to set up special camps. Harijan Tola Simra Khurd, Bhuiyan Toli Aghor Ashram, Harijan Tola Muryahi, Harijan Tola Kusht Colony, Panchkadwa Kacharva Tola, Harijan Tola Talab area, Bhuiyan Toli Aabhganj, Harijan Tola Railway Line, Jhopad Patti Gandhi Maidan, Dome Toli Nawahata, Chamar Toli Bhatti Mohalla, Dom Toli Palamu Club, Harijan Tola Semar Tad Shahpur, Bhimgarha, Bhuiyan Toli Navketan Cinema, Dom Toli Baherwa etc. Slum areas have been directed to set up special health camps. For this, all preparations have been completed by the Health Department and the Municipal Corporation. Deputy Commissioner Palamu Dr. Santanu Kumar Agrahari has appealed to the citizens of Slum areas to attend the special medical camp and to seek medical treatment and health checkup. At the same time, the Deputy Commissioner has called the Shramdan for cleaning and cleanliness in the respective areas on the occasion of Sanitation and Sewa Diwas from the common people.
